Description
One of Epiphone's most storied guitars, the Sheraton returns in a democratic package. This elegant EPIPHONE Archtop Original Sheraton (EOSHNAGH1) features a semi-hollow body crafted from layered maple with a maple centerblock for feedback resistance.
The 22-fret, mahogany neck has a bound Indian laurel fretboard with block mother of pearl with abalone triangle inlays. The bound headstock has a historic Epiphone logo and tree of life in mother of pearl.
Epiphone ProBucker™ mini humbuckers™ deliver a wide dynamic tonal range that finds a voice in nearly any genre. Gold hardware, including a vintage-styled Frequensator™ Split Trapeze tailpiece, add to the simple, timeless aesthetic of this Epiphone legend.
Fingerboard is made of Laurel. It's a spectacular and often overlooked guitar tonewood. It has the look and feel to that of East Indian Rosewood, offering rich overtones and brilliant highs that produce lively and dynamic performances. It's sound is often compared to that of Brazilian Rosewood.
