Dans la gamme des "Hollowbody" c'est une excellente guitare avec un très bon rapport qualité/prix, elle a d'ailleurs pris de la valeur depuis sa sortie vers 2009.
Hormis une très bonne finition, elle a une super sonorité naturelle, avec les micros splitables qui apportent une grande polyvalence par différentes combinaisons pour différents styles de musique, comme un son "crunchy", et que l'on appréciera d'autant plus avec un ampli à lampes et également des effets, sans oublier son vibrato "Bigsby" et sa poignée particulièrement pratique.
Très agréable aussi, sa souplesse apportera aux guitaristes confirmés comme aux débutants un grand confort et plaisir de jeu.
En bref, cette guitare "archtop" est au "top" !

Description
The EPIHONE Emperor Swingster (ETS2BAGNB1) is a way-cool hollow body electric guitar that excels in a wide range of genres, including jazz, blues, rockabilly, country, and rock.
This hollowbody has a 5-ply layered maple body, mahogany neck with a comfortable and fast-playing SlimTaper™ profile, Indian laurel fretboard with block inlays, mother of pearl Epiphone and Tree of Life inlays on the large Clipped Dove Wing headstock, Grover® Rotomatic® tuning machines, and two Epiphone SwingBucker™ pickups, each with a dedicated volume and tone control. Push/pull switches are built into each volume control to provide series/parallel switching for the pickups, and along with the 3-way toggle pickup selector switch, give you a broad selection of tonal options. The LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge is mounted on a pinned wooden base so it won't move out of place when you use the licensed Bigsby® vibrato with wire handle.
Fingerboard is made of Laurel. It's a spectacular and often overlooked guitar tonewood. It has the look and feel to that of East Indian Rosewood, offering rich overtones and brilliant highs that produce lively and dynamic performances. It's sound is often compared to that of Brazilian Rosewood.
