The Fender Stories Collection Michael Landau Coma Stratocaster is an exceptional solidbody electric guitar, a tribute to the iconic 1959 Stratocaster used by the famous studio guitarist Michael Landau.
Nicknamed "Coma", this iconic guitar has marked Michael Landau's entire career. Purchased at the age of 16, it has been modified over the years to match the artist's evolving playing style. Today, Fender offers a faithful reissue of the original.
Alder '59 body with Coma Red satin nitro finish, maple neck with 7.25" rosewood slab fingerboard, comfortable "C" profile and narrow tall frets: a perfect balance between vintage authenticity and modern playing comfort.
The combination of two ML Ultra Noiseless Strat® pickups (neck and center) and a ML Wide Range CuNiFe humbucker in the bridge delivers a wide range of sounds, from bright and clear to powerful and expressive. Ideal for all styles.
Vintage Strat bridge with synchronized vibrato, deep-drawn steel bridges, ClassicGear™ tuners and neck mounting plate engraved with the Coma logo. Floyd Rose® cavities are also present for further customization.
The Coma Stratocaster comes with a custom embroidered "Coma" hard case, a special strap, exclusive stickers and the Coma booklet written by Michael Landau. A true collector's item for guitarists and enthusiasts alike.
Designed to meet the demands of studio musicians and live performers alike, this signature Stratocaster combines expressiveness, sonic finesse and playing comfort. An instrument designed by a master of sound, for exceptional performance.
Thanks to its electronic configuration and premium hardware, the Coma Stratocaster allows you to move from subtle playing to powerful solos with fluidity. It adapts to all musical genres with elegance.
