The SE212 cabinet is the ultimate model for those looking to project maximum sound without breaking their back. Hiwatt's heritage construction methods and dimensions allow it to withstand decades of touring and the extreme sound pressure levels produced by the speakers. These cabinets are designed to resonate optimally, contributing greatly to the overall sound.
Featuring a pair of Fane Acoustics™ 12-inch Fane F75 drivers, the SE212 cabinet can handle 150W of power and offer plenty of headroom before it starts to saturate. This speaker emphasizes the upper mids, giving it a clear, articulate, and punchy sound, but without being harsh. It also gives the impression of a much more present guitar. Once pushed to its limits, it emits a subtle saturation that helps make the guitar stand out even more in the mix.
To preserve historic sound quality, the SE212 benefits from a low-mounted speaker that accentuates the projection of low frequencies and gives this small cabinet a sound much more imposing than its size suggests.
