This Strat® sports a slim and inviting “C”-shaped neck profile and a thin, lightweight body for optimal playing comfort while a Squier® humbucking (H) bridge pickup delivers substantial, high-output tone that will suit Punk and Hard-Rock players.
Further details of this model include a 6-saddle hardtail bridge (HT) for reliable intonation, sealed-gear tuning machines for smooth, accurate tuning and durable chrome-plated hardware that is sure to catch the spotlight.
Poplar is consideder as a nice alternative for Alder, with close balanced tonal characteristics.
The lighter feel, subtler grain and cheaper cost of Poplar is perfect for affordable instruments. Netherless it is used to built some high quality guitars and basses.
Fingerboard is made of Laurel. It's a spectacular and often overlooked guitar tonewood. It has the look and feel to that of East Indian Rosewood, offering rich overtones and brilliant highs that produce lively and dynamic performances. It's sound is often compared to that of Brazilian Rosewood.
