Description

La FENDER Custom Shop Limited Edition 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster Masterbuilt Andy Hicks Heavy Relic Wide-Fade 2-Color Sunburst #XN4681 (9218002819) célèbre l'anniversaire de platine d'une guitare électrique solid body quintessentielle.

Elle est constituée d'éléments triés sur le volet : corps deux pièces en Frêne "sort for lightweight" résonant (aigus musicaux, médiums feutrés, basses précises), manche et touche en Erable quarter-sawn (profil 07/54 Soft "V" basé sur une Stratocaster originale de juillet 1954, radius hybride 7.25" > 9.5", frettes Jescar médium-vintage), micros bobinés main Custom Shop hand-wound ’54 Strat, accastillage Custom Shop.

Andy Hicks a suivi une formation professionnelle de luthier en intégrant en 2009 la Guitar Craft Academy à Hollywood. Il a dans la foulée intégré le Fender / Jackson Custom Shop. De 2013 à 2018 il a été assistant du Senior Master Builder Steve Stern au Gretsch Custom Shop. Cela lui a donné l'occasion de travailler avec de nombreux musiciens de renom. Il a notamment collaboré à l'élaboration de la Malcolm Young "Salute" Jet.
En 2018, Andy est recruté par James Tyler pour superviser la production de ses guitares.
Il rejoint en suite le Fender Custom Shop en tant que Master Builder.
